Some of the leads we used to lose, or never got, now come in, because people can interact. We want good relationships and good dialogue with our customers and to be an advisory bank, and that requires us to actually be prepared for that dialogue.
A home purchase is decided in a few days but prepared for months. Without the budget, the bank is there for the first fifteen minutes and not again until the house is found.
The question is asked long before anyone is ready for a meeting. The budget captures it and remembers the numbers instead of letting them disappear with the browser tab.
The household keeps the budget up to date itself. Every return visit and every change is a signal that the decision is still under way, and of when it is getting close.
The adviser gets a household that knows its numbers and a case that is half prepared. So the bank can say yes while the house is still for sale.
The bank put the budget on its website on 1 April 2026, replacing a downloadable budget form. Nobody contacted the households.
These are minimum figures: the newest households have not yet had time to come back. The bank is anonymised by agreement.
